What will it cost you to use a consultant for your franchise purchase?
As a franchisee, you do not pay for the services a franchise consultant offers. You will pay the published price for any franchise just as if you had gone directly to the franchisor. The franchisor absorbs our fees. Franchisors respect the rigorous processes we follow and recognize the quality and fit of clients we refer to them once we finalize our consultations. A franchise consultant is uniquely positioned to provide a win-win scenario for both the franchisee and the franchisor.
How long will it take to get the business started?
It varies. Our team can complete the franchise consultation process with you over a few days. Most clients can find a great opportunity in anywhere from 1 to 3 months. Once you identify a franchise opportunity that interests you, you need to prepare a business plan that we will assist you with and submit it to the franchisor for consideration. If your business plan is acceptable to the franchisor, you need to sign a Letter Of Intent (LOI) with the franchisor and then agree on terms and conditions and on your proposed plan for expansion of the franchise opportunity within a designated territory.
Do I need industry experience to buy a franchise?
Industry experience is always useful; however, some companies still accept candidates with no industry experience prior to owning the franchise. Franchisors want people who can motivate employees, close sales, and manage efficient operations.
